I specialize in issues now being associated with the Endocannabinoid System from a classical/eastern medical perspective. I consult healthcare professionals as well as work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My patient-students live all over the world, so I do a lot of work via phone and video, as well as in-person sessions.
A link to my resume is provided below.
I offer all of my services in support of the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Scholarship Foundation I direct.
I have been a student and practitioner of natural healing arts and medicines for two decades,
a professional educator of children and adults for three decades,
and an entrepreneur and philanthropist my entire life.
I have a deep and unique understanding, from a classical/eastern medical perspective, of what is now being called the endocannabinoid system. My practice focuses on bringing this, and therefore all systems into better balance. I treat individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My patient-students range from those working toward optimum health to those dealing with potentially terminal illnesses.
Eastern medical practices and philosophies (including but not limited to) acupressure/acupuncture, yoga, meditation, bodywork, herbal therapies, and life-coaching are the foundations of my practice.
The majority of my time and services are offered in support of raising money for the education of our future physicians. In addition to working individually via phone and video, as well as in-person sessions. I also offer lectures, courses, custom retreats, and teacher/practitioner workshops.
Among the several businesses I have owned and managed were my television stations and production company in Colorado. In addition to the numerous philanthropic endeavors I have been involved in, my main focus now is supporting the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) Scholarship Fund through the Trudy McAlister Foundation for which I am the Executive Director.
My Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education is from West Virginia University. My pre-med studies were done in Colorado and then my Doctor of Science in Oriental Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine. I am a student/disciple of Swami Chetanananda, and spent years as a resident of The Movement Center in Portland, Oregon.
